Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American actor and comedian is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. After moving to America she was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actress in her early years as a child. In AT&T television commercials, she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into the year 2020. The commercials she appeared in were not her only activity she was involved in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). Also, she was regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was initially cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. She began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five due in part to her family's financial problems. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of her sophomore year, and subsequently obtained the GED. After that she went on to receive the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
